NEW PRIZE FOR CONTEMPORARY QUILT CHALLENGE ENTRANTS

THE ANNE TUCK PRIZE

The Quilters’ Guild is delighted to announce the inauguration of a new prize of £100 to be given each year for the next 10 years to a CQ group member of less than three years who has taken part in the Contemporary Quilt Specialist Group Annual Challenge.  The prize is to enable the winner to further her/his textile exploration.

Anne Tuck was a founder member of The Guild, a member of Contemporary Quilt and It Happens, a textile group based in the north of England.  In honour of Anne, who died in 2015, the prize has been established by her family to leave a legacy to the membership of Contemporary Quilt Specialist Group.  The Anne Tuck Prize will be awarded annually to the winner, at the Festival of Quilts.
