The Quilters’ Guild is delighted to announce the inauguration of a new prize for CQ Challenge entrants, awarded annually to the winner at the Festival of Quilts.

Members are invited to submit quilts for a new exhibition in 2020 - venues to be arranged.
To be called ‘Fragmentation’
The size limit is 100 x 60 cm in landscape or portrait format.
The closing date is 30th June 2020.
In a break from previous years, the 2020 challenge will NOT be juried; all entries will be exhibited. The reasoning behind this decision is to try to attract new challenge entrants.
There are groups of Contemporary Quilters throughout the UK. They are a great opportunity to meet fellow quilters, have fun and get help and inspiration.
Considering the information currently available on the Coronavirus (COVID-19)and the Government's proposed further measures, the Contemporary Quilt Committee find it necessary to cancel the Annual Meeting due to be held on Saturday 28. March in Newcastle.
We do apologise for any inconvenience this action may cause.
